With the passing of our parents, this year has been a really bad one for my family and the thought of having to rid ourselves of their possessions really didn’t go over well with any of us. I enjoy spending my early Saturday mornings going to estate and garage sales and happened across a couple of yours. There was one in particular where I watched you and your team and was highly impressed with the way you handled yourself and how knowledgeable everyone was. I knew there would come a day when I would need your services so after introducing myself to you and speaking for a short time, I knew I was going to hire you when the time came.
My brothers and I were very impressed with the way you handled our estate sale in Plainview in November. You handled everything as if they were your own possessions and showed nothing but respect for the house and its contents. You and your team were extremely friendly and made what started to be a dreaded day a lot better to handle. The sale was a success and we have received numerous phone calls from those who attended who were interested in some of the furniture that hadn’t been sold.

However, you kindly offered me the information on Robert and his services to clear out a home and have it cleaned for sale. All I can say is: he made what could have been an emotionally difficult and disorganized project of closing a home we had for 37 years into a worry free and beautifully carried out, or engineered, event that left me free to do the things that also involve a closing. He thought of everything that needed to be done and did them so carefully and tactfully.

Not only were your staff members efficient, neat, and friendly, but even the many people who regularly come to so many of your tag sales were interesting and nice to meet. I had been afraid that I would be heartbroken to part with some items that I've owned for a lifetime, but I actually enjoyed the process immensely! Who knew!

I do not have enough words to thank you for the amazing job that you did with my moving sale this past weekend. To say that it exceeded all of my expectations is a true understatement. The pure ease at which everything was handled was amazing. Everything from the advertising to the set-up was so great that the day the sale came I was not nervous at all. I could hardly believe it when I looked out the window the morning of the sale and there was a line of cars down the block and people lined up down the driveway all waiting for you to open the door. Your clientel that you brought to the sale was far superior than anything I could have hoped for and truly made the sale a huge success and so much more profitable than anything I could have ever attempted on my own. Dear Denise,
This past weekend was just an amazing experience! We never thought in a million years there would be so many people coming to our estate sale let alone buying most of the items that were there. You did warn us though.
It was Saturday morning at 7AM, three hours before show time mind you, that we got our first wakeup call (no pun intended). We drove past the house only to find a line-up of cars waiting to be the first ones in at 10AM. Throughout the day we would drive past the house and continuously see cars wrapped around the block and parked on both sides of the road. It was a rainy, cold winter day but that didn't stop people from coming. Many items were sold on Saturday but there was still a lot to go. One more day was left to sell the remainder.
On Sunday we didn't think there would be much of a turnout since it was the second day and things were already picked through. Once again we were surprised. The day was just like the day before with tons of people in and out of the house and sheds...and making purchases. At the end of the sale there were some things left but not many. It was a huge success! We could not have done this without you, Denise. You and your team worked hard and were very professional and trust worthy. We thank you for everything you did and would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone who's looking to have an estate sale.

You can imagine the horror of finding out you have three weeks to move out. To make matters worse we were down sizing from 6000 sq feet to 1000 sq feet. We called Sisters-In-Charge and they came to our house immediately. We carefully went through the house and talked about the items we were planning on taking vs what was for sale. After interviewing several other services we choose Sister's based on reputation and comfortability. A few days before the two day sale they came to our house to set up and talk about pricing. They worked all day and we hardly knew they were even there.
Denise who was very compassionate and understanding of our sitituation was tough as nails when it came to dealing with the buyers for our stuff. She fought hard to get us the best price possible. We were very pleased with the outcome of the sales on both days. Not only did we make money - we also had the luxury of not having to find movers to help empty our house.
I would have to say the best part of the experience was the feeling of "family" that came along with Sisters-in-charge... EVERY SINGLE person working for that company showed us the utmost respect for us as people and our house. I cannot say enough good things about the people they employ.
They made a very difficult moment in our life - much easier...

What a WHALE OF A SALE we had thanks to you and the Sisters in Charge staff!!!!!!!!!!
Cars began arriving at 5:00 AM on Friday, and they were not disappointed because of the way the home had been professionally set up by Sisters in Charge. People were able to walk from room to room with great ease, picking and choosing the items they wanted. Throughout Friday and Saturday we could hear you directing the staff, and they kept rearranging items so that everything appeared neat at all times. You also have such a unique negotiating ability - and were able to close deals that I never thought would be possible. Dollar wise we earned way more than expected.
Our sincere thanks to you and your staff for a job well done. I would highly recommend Sisters in Charge, and give you a 10 out of 10.
